Festool Dimpled Baseplate For Carvex Jigsaws (497298)

This low-friction base insert has outstanding glide properties. The dimpled, plastic bottom offers lower resistance, especially when sawing without dust extraction. Because of the design, dust will not accumulate at the front of the base as you cut. Instead, it flows through the dimpled pattern of the base plate. Also works great on uneven surfaces like OSB, which are prone to catching on a traditional sharp-edged base plate. For use with Festool Carvex jigsaws (e.g. #45111 and #49192, sold separately).
