Purpleheart Bowl Turning Blank, 6” X 6” X 2”

Purpleheart changes from a dull brown to its famous royal hue shortly after the wood is cut. Only the heartwood is purple; the sapwood is creamy, pinkish cinnamon. These blanks are almost entirely heartwood, and are dimensioned for small bowls and platters. They can also be resawn into blanks for pens, knife scales, bottle stoppers and much more.
